develOOp another fine develOOpment

Just a few days before the early discount (80€ iso 120€) ends, i signed up for the drupalcon event in Szeged Hungary.

Like other people around the area, we were also thinking of renting a mini-van and drive the 1500km's in pure geeky style. i.e Powersupply + 3G broadband included for the whole 15hours of travel. But ...

1. I need to be back in Belgium in time to get my children ready for their first day to school on Sept. 1st.
2. Getting the 3G internet would be a bit too costly :)

I've booked the tickets from sunday till sunday. First a few days of tourism in Budapest together with swentel and bruno and hopefully some others?

In szeged we are thinking of organizing a track on drupal porting. We are still discussing the best format, but are thinking about a general introduction to porting (webchick and others) followed by a full day of porting under the supervision of the whole Krimson-team. Everybody is welcome but we'd still like this to run in an organized way.
I.e. the list of modules that will is handled should be carefully prepared in advance just as swentel already mentioned. Discussion about that subject should be handled on his post.
We will start this process already in the coming week, since we plan to organize a few drupal-fridays together with Madcap. I'll set up a registration form on http://krimson.be to get this thing rolling, starting on July 11th.
