Disclaimer: I’ve had several people contacting me that they didn’t get this thing to work. I guess i still left out some crucial installation/configuration parts. Use with care!
This step by step tutorial explains HOWTO run functional tests in Drupal core. We will do this both from within drupal and from within eclipse.
My machine is running Ubuntu 7.10 and uses the standard Lamp stack which comes with it. PHP 5, Mysql 5, Apache2.
I just installed subclipse 1.2.4 from the subclipse update site...
But when i got into the Preferences>Team>SVN section i got some error about JavaHL not installed on my machine.
Apparantely this library is prepackaged with the Windows version of the subclipse plugin, but not so for linux or OsX..
Thanks to Nilesh's post i could quickly resolved this by doing
For a client i needed to investigate S3 storage for a drupal media site. A 30 minutes job i figured.
Basically i just needed to see how to install it, check if all drivers were installed and check how we should configure it for the site they needed.
After 3 hours of 'working' i still hadn't configured anything although i worked very hard.
